On a Memorial Day

Well it's Memorial Day, the last day off before the end of school, and what better to do than to update my sometimes-neglected blog. (Nobody ever reads it, though, so nobody really wouldn't care except me, but still..) Anyway, so, what's been new? A lot, actually.

I guess.

So basically I've been spending May earnestly wishing that school was over and done with. Before the last couple of weeks or so, I've been somewhat indifferent about school ending, but now I'm firmly in favor of it ending, for good. (well.. it's gonna take another year for *that* to happen) but I'm more than ready for summer to come. Also, it looks like I may, for the first time, be getting as close to a 4.0 as I can without actually getting one: I'm on track to getting all A's except for one A minus. I just need to actually finish start all my late work that I need done for Greaves, prod Mrs. Barenz to fix my F that I oh-so-stupidly got for missing class to take an AP test, and I'm good. :P

I also tried out for and made the school's Impact Team (a group that puts on skits for elementary and juinor high students about drugs, violence, bullying, and other topics), which is awesome. I can't wait to be a part of this next year.

Anyway, I've just been hanging in there, listening to music (such as the new Linkin Park CD, and some Red Hot Chili Peppers CDs that Xochil hooked me up with), and hanging out with friends. Me and my little group went to Spring Fling at the new Rec Center together, then trekked out to Salt Lake to eat at Souper Salad. It was fun. We also watched Rat Race after. One of the funniest movies of all time, to boot. :D
