I'm tired

Ya know, over the past few weeks (maybe months, I dunno) I have just been extremely tired. Every day, I'm always finding myself so groggy I often cannot concentrate in class. Reading books, for example, has suddenly become a struggle for me simply because I can't concentrate because I'm so tired. Just doing any kind of class work is somewhat of a challenge to me lately, in fact. I've also found myself drooping my head frequently, something I've only ever done before in 7th grade, in Mr. Vendetti's Utah Studies class.

But why am I so tired? I just can't quite figure it out. Maybe it's because I have one more factor in my life that I haven't had in years past - a job. But that shouldn't affect myself too much - I never work later than 9 or 9:30, and the work I do (making pizzas, for Pete's sake) is hardly tiresome. Maybe it's because I stay up past my, er, bedtime.. I've always tried to make it to bed by 10:00, but I frequently (read: almost every day) stay up to do homework (or.. other things, like listening to music or fiddling around with my cellphone :P). But I've done all that before.

Then why am I so tired, then? I have no flippin' idea. Anyway, some random things of note.
  • - I'm going sledding tommorow for a combined Priest / Laurel activity thing. Yay! I haven't had the chance to go this year. I just hope I can, um.. figure out how to fit my body onto my sled first. I really hope I can.
  • - Ummm... today was a B-day. Now I know this is random, but I really love B-days. First, I have Seminary, with Brother Chang. That guy is awesome. Then I have US History, or at least, that's what it's supposed to be. In reality it's "sit around and do nothing for an hour an a half". Seriously, we do nothing in that class. That class combined with my math lab period basically means three whole hours of sitting around doing nothing but listen to my iPod and play Sonic Jump on my cellphone. Oh, and playing calculator games and maybe doing a problem or two of calculus. Then finally I have desktop publishing, which is fun too. We design flyers and other cool things. It's really cool.
  • - Speaking of calculator games, I tought Melissa how to play those said games today. Finally, another piece of technology that she knows how to use! (Okay, now that was really random..)
  • - And finally... lemon meraingue pie rocks. (Not that I like it or anything, but it just rocks. Okay? Go with it.)
Well, that's it. See you guys around. (Are there still people besides Dan that reads this blog? I sure hope so. Maybe Megan discovered it when I tried to get her to go to my site today... oh well.)

Read My Mind

That is the title of a song by The Killers, on their new album, Sam's Town. It may just be my new favorite song. Well, okay, let's think realistically here: It may just be my new second favorite song. (I don't think any song in existence can dethrone U2's Discothèque from the spot of my favorite song.) It's a great little song, starting out with the finest of electronic synth noises, then subsequently bursting out into great percussion, and a little bit later, so awesome U2-like guitars. It's like something my pretend, fake band Blue Crush would make. But you don't really need to know that. Anyway, I bought it off iTunes yesterday, though I don't really know why I bought it. But last night I think I, um.. read my own mind. I think I needed that song.

On a seemingly unrelated note, yesterday was the day of that Surprise Dance.. I took my friend Kira to it. She thought it was rather boring for some reason, so she talked me into going to my house and watching Pirates of the Carribean instead. So we walked out to my car to find that it was completely boxed in. Turns out that there were like five or six cars that decided to park right in front of two rows of cars, basically making three rows of cars, leaving the middle row of cars blocked in on all sides. My car was right in the middle of all this, so we went inside and got Officer Bryson to take down the license plates of the third row of cars. He took them to the DJ at the dance, who subsequently called out the license plate numbers.

The plan worked somewhat, as two or three of the cars moved in fear of getting parking tickets, but after a while there were still three cars left in the third row, and one of them was still blocking our way. Thankfully Bryson recognized the car directly in front of us, and he knew the person that drove it. He told the DJ the name of the person and he called out their name, but they still would not go out and move their car. Finally Bryson tracked the kid down (after a little distraction: a group of kids were driving recklessly in the parking lot and he had to arrest them) and finally we were able to leave.

So, yeah, that's my crazy story for today. Now I gotta go out and shovel the snow on my driveway before my dad comes home. Oy vey!

MLK

Sleep, sleep tonight,
And may your dreams be realized.
If the thunder cloud passes rain,
So let it rain, rain down on him.

So let it be.. so let it be..

Sleep, sleep tonight,
And may your dreams be realized.
If the thundercloud passes rain,
So let it rain, let it rain..

Rain on him.

Lack of Update Super Syndrome

Sorry about not updating this blog... it's been an entire year since I lasted updated this thing! :D Just kidding, just kidding, it's been since Christmas, which was a few weeks ago. Welp, the reason why I haven't updated much is because they're hasn't been anything good going on to post about.

On New Year's Day, my entire family except my brother and me were half dead. Well, they were sick, but they pretty much looked and acted half dead :P My family were pretty much sick the rest of that week, but I only had minor throat and voice problems. Anyway, the rest of the new year as been pretty much average, borderline-bad, until just recently when it's finally been back to 2006 standards of goodness. And that's good.

So, this is just my post saying that I'm still hanging in there and I still have interest in this blog. I'ma end it here, but just cause I can't really type right now. It's a combination of the fact that I have a bandage on my right pinky, and my hands are cold right now and I can't really type when they're cold anyway. Welp, see ya, and happy Aught Seven, y'all.
